Tomorrow I will be taking the iPads to two additional classrooms to facilitate a variety of iPad lessons. One is a 1st grade and the second is a Special Education Classroom.
The Special Needs students on our site are assimiliated into the general classrooms on a 80-20 model. Majority of the their learning takes place in the general classroom setting. The iPad lessons that I will facilitate will take place within their Special Education classroom. In preparation for my visit, I will re-visit the website "a4cwsn.com" which stands for Apps For Children With Special Needs. This website has been an excellent resource in locating FREE iPad apps that maximize and modify the students' learning experience.
